I’ve always been intrigued by Mantras and later by Stotrams. Mantras and Stotrams work with specific sound combinations that produce unique vibrations that can be felt while meditating. They do not have to do much with devotional practices or prayer unless you consider prayer a form of meditation. In which case, you are more of a metaphysical scientist/researcher than a religious person! Mantras have nothing to do with religion. But many religions have mantras that reveal that what is now left of them is a small percentage of the actual science of the unseen that they once embodied.
